Are cooked bones safe for Labs?
Short answer
No. Cooking makes bones brittle so they splinter, risking choking, broken teeth and gut perforation. PetMD and other veterinary sources advise against cooked bones entirely. Offer correctly sized rubber toys or approved edible chews instead, and supervise every chewing session.
