What do I need for a new Lab puppy?

Short answer

Before day one, get an adult-size crate with a divider, large-breed puppy food, a collar and ID tag, a leash, enzyme cleaner, puppy-safe toys and a vet appointment. Enroll in insurance early. Plan to size up the collar, harness and toys around months 3–6.
